Harbour shoot - Hairstyling for Portfolio

I was asked to assist with the hair styling on a recent shoot. The photographs were to be in black and white, with Jasmine assisting with the make up, the model had to be highly contoured. The way the photographer wanted me to style the hair seemed difficult but challenged my skills as a hair stylist. The models hair was very thick and long, the photographer wanted me to style the hair big and curly. I used tongs and carefully separated the hair to create little ringlets throughout. I then teased the hair and hair sprayed it whilst i went along to add extra volume. After the shoot, myself, Jasmine and the photographer were very happy with the shots by the harbour. After little editing, these are how the shots came out.
